Why "Dredge"?
A dredge is the machine that clears a waterway so everything downstream can move freely. That's the whole idea behind this company. Hosting should pull the muck out of the way, the slow disks, the surprise invoices, the support mazes, so your site has a clear path to the people who need it.
What we believe
Most hosting problems aren't technical, they're about trust. You shouldn't need a decoder ring to understand your bill, or a week of emails to get a straight answer. We'd rather do a few things honestly than a hundred things with fine print.

What we actually run on
Dredge Host runs on a managed cPanel platform in a Virginia datacenter, with every account provisioned, tuned, and supported by us. It's shared hosting, run carefully and sold honestly.
Where we are now
Dredge Host is up and running as an independent company. We're not backed by a hyperscaler, and we have no ambition to be the biggest host on the internet.
